Welcome to Mrs. Warrens’s class!
We are a busy classroom and we work very hard.Our class motto is “To Try our best!”.We will have great fun this year in our new playground.
June
We went on our school tour to Wexford Leisure Plex. We had great fun trying lots of different things. We drove cars on a mini racing track and we also tried out bowling. There was a soft play area which we all enjoyed. It was fun to bounce, run and jump with our friends. We learned about sea creatures and enjoyed painting colourful clown fish. It was a busy end to a great year.
May
We were delighted to come into the season of summer. The sun was shining, and we enjoyed playing outside in the wonderful sunshine. We made sure flowers were given water. We enjoyed going on a summer walk to check what was growing. We had fun painting and playing with sand and water in our classroom.
March
March was a busy month. We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. Our school celebrated by dressing up in green clothes. We danced and sang Irish songs. It was very enjoyable. Our playtime was a sea of green. We celebrated World Book Day. We had the opportunity to dress up as our favourite characters. We had a selection of Gruffalos and superheroes! We also read a selection of favourite stories. It was a brilliant day.
February
Hurrah for Spring! We enjoyed painting spring flowers and going on spring walks to discover signs of spring. We spotted beautiful daffodils growing in our school garden. We worked on construction activities and built many different structures. We attended music and learned to use new musical instruments. We built jigsaws and practiced our drawing and tracing. We also had fun on our yoga balls doing different exercises. We were very busy!
December
December was an exciting time in our class. We were very lucky to have Santa come and visit our school and give us treats. On our last day of school, we wore our Christmas Jumpers and enjoyed playing games. Our carol service also took place this month and we enjoyed listening and learning new carol and Christmas songs. Our class designed and coloured in Christmas cards. Our favourite rhyme was “5 Little Snowmen” and we enjoyed singing “Jingle Bells” and “Mary had a Baby”.
November
Our school took part in collecting Christmas Shoe boxes. We enjoyed counting and looking at them all. They were bright and colourful. We had Maths week, and our class took part in problem of the day. We had to put our thinking caps on. It was very enjoyable. We were all delighted to win some prizes. We had great fun getting Christmas Art ready at the end of this month.
October
Our class enjoyed dressing up for Halloween. We had a busy month learning songs and rhymes about this time of the year. We painted Winnie the Witch and enjoyed listening to stories including “The Witch with the Itch”. Our class also built amazing houses with Lego, Magnetic squares and cubes. It was great fun.
September
Mrs.Warren’s Class have had a busy month. We have enjoyed learning about autumn and collecting autumn leaves.Throughout the month we have had fun building with our construction toys.We use mala to create interesting shapes. Our class has practiced our cutting skills. We have learned new songs and rhymes. Our class learned all about Old McDonald’s Farm! It has been great fun.
