On Tuesday, 8th November we were overwhelmed with the large volumes of shoeboxes that flooded through the school doors supporting the Team hope Shoebox appeal. The council were very active in the days leading up to the deadline and they were overjoyed when they saw how all the school community pulled together to support the appeal. Over 107 boxes were counted on the morning of the collection! These were sent to the FCJ secondary school in Bunclody with the assistance of three transition year students and their transport. The council would like to say a big thank you to all the students in the school and to their families for their generosity. Team hope were most grateful for all the boxes received and communicated their thank you in an acknowledgement email to the student council.
