21 June 2019 at 11.30pm: Refreshments needed for Flag raising event
We are very proud to announce that Clonegal National School is accredited as a GAA 5 Star Centre. This is awarded to National Schools that undertake to deliver a programme of Gaelic Games activity that is age-appropriate and meets the developmental needs of children within the school. And in 2018 out schoolreceived the Digital Schools award. To celebrate these great achievements we will be raising two flags on 21 June at 11.30pm while enjoying a cup of coffee, tea and refreshments. Any cakes, buns, biscuits etc. brought in would be very much appreciated.

17 & 18 May 2019: Bunclody Bucket Collection
The Parents' Council will be holding a Bucket Collection in Bunclody on Friday 17 May and Saturday 18 May to raise money for resources for the school. The government grants are not sufficient to fund valuable resources for our children. The school is reliant on fundraising for support. We would really appreciate it if as many parents as possible could give up an hour or two of their time to help out. Please let us know your availability!

At every AGM the Parent Council committee of the previous year steps down and a new committee is elected. With this in mind we would like to receive nominations for the new committee – this will be done at the meeting from those present on the night. We would strongly encourage parent’s attendance at this event, as without a complete parent’s council we cannot continue to organise events/ fundraisers for the benefit of your children. Just to remind you of some of the events that the Parent’s Council organise: Halloween Party/ Disco, Christmas Hamper Raffle, Santa’s Visit, Trolley Raffle. Your support is greatly appreciated.
